Dan has been an integral part of the Kress Financial team for nearly 10 years now. Over the last 35 years, our family-owned company has been providing advice and helping clients reach their retirement goals. He joined the team as part of the third generation of Kress’s fortunate enough to serve over 1,000 families in the Erie, PA area and around the United States.
Graduating from Penn State Behrend in 2015 with a Finance Degree, he holds his Series 66 and 7 professional licenses. Furthering his educational background, Dan went on to obtain his Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) certification in 2019, and his Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) designation in 2021. He is an Investment Advisor Representative with OSAIC Wealth Inc., a partnership that enables him to offer a wide variety of investments to his clients.
Each day of Dan’s is filled mainly with giving advice to clients. Beyond that, he finds himself handling much of the firm’s process, procedural, and technological improvements. Back in 2014, our company aligned with a strategic coach, which created a direct support line for many of these developments and the firm’s growth. Dan’s daily motivation is to create as efficient a platform and work environment as possible, so each team member at KFS can place their sole focus on helping clients.
Dan is a firm believer in staying involved in the community and continues to expand his contributions. Currently, he volunteers with the Kiwanis Club of Fort LeBoeuf and is a board member for the Autism Society of Northwest PA. Born and raised in Erie, PA, Dan spends his free time between the golf course, the family cottage in Findley Lake, and at home with his wife Kayla and daughter Chloe.
